The results showed that different doses of papaya leaf concentrate can significantly increase the number of platelets, white blood cells, lymphocyte subsets, monocyte subsets and bone marrow cells in mice, which proves the effectiveness of the immune system. The highest dose of papaya concentrate has the effect of reducing inflammatory cytokines, interleukin-6 (IL-6) and tumor necrosis factor alpha (TNF-alpha), demonstrating its anti-inflammatory effects. In addition, papaya leaf concentrates can also improve the phagocytic function of peritoneal macrophages and regulate the response of cytokines. This indicates that it has a functional immunomodulatory effect. The safety assessment showed that it was safe at the test dose and did not cause any side effects on the liver and kidneys of the mice.
